Recovery from an addiction or eating disorder takes courage, patience, time, and spiritual connection. Addictions and eating disorders/disordered eating are symbolic disorders that are typically compensating for attachment wounds, relational trauma, and other co-occurring complexes such as inferiority and inadequacy. Addressing this spiritual disconnect, psychological disorganization, or 'stuckness' is the next step in your recovery. Together in a non-judgmental environment we will help you to gain ground in making meaning of your life, and finding a path that feels most authentic and connected.
Disclaimer: I will not accept clients with an active addiction or medically unstable eating disorder. New clients must be sober and medically stabilized before beginning treatment for a minimum of 90 days. I understand that relapse can be a part of recovery, but initial treatment at the level of care I am able to provide requires sobriety. If you should relapse in my care, I will refer you to a higher level of care, and will accept you back when appropriate after you have successfully completed all recommended treatment. |
